Kaohsiung Winter Wonderland Kicks Off with “Chiikawa” Celebration - JAN-25

Mayor Chen Chi-mai welcomed visitors to the city’s 2025 Kaohsiung Wonderland – an event that will run until February 16^th, 2025 – and features what many consider the adorable Chiikawa characters from Japan. Kaohsiung’s port area will be a Winter Wonderland from January 25 to February 16.

Following last year’s successful Yellow Duck installation, the city has now invited three charming Chiikawa characters to capture public imagination. The Tourism Bureau promises a vibrant experience with 25 rides, including 6 new mechanical attractions and a dedicated children’s inflatable zone.

– Free entry tickets distributed one hour before each session
